Quintiles are seeking Scientific Liaison Managers - experts at Key Opinion Leader Development- who are highly influential, have an understanding of medical research and have the experience and desire to forge beneficial commercial relationships, through a programme of medical education.

Primary Duties:

Ideal Candidates will have a successful background of:

  • Developing highly influential, respected International, National and Regional KOLs  (Key Opinion Leaders)

     

  • Identifying, coaching and developing scientific speakers

     

  • Work on the development of Continuing Medical Education Programmes

     

  • Building specific excellence and integrity within the healthcare community

     

  • Secondary Care Representative experience

     

Working in partnership with a rapidly growing European specialty pharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialisation of novel innovative drugs for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases;  In return for your talent you will receive excellent benefits package, continuing professional development and world-wide career opportunities

 

 

Qualifications:

Skills & Experience Required:

 

 

  • Previous Medical Scientific Liaison experience or successful track record working as a Secondary Care Pharmaceutical Representative

     

  • Demonstrable experience practically applying medical knowledge in a commercial environment

     

  • Evidence of KOL influence and development

     

  • Scientific Degree (BSc) or equivalent

     

  • Excellent planning & organisational skills

     

  • High standard of oral & written communication, including well developed presentation skills

     

  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, adaptable,

     

  • Project Management skills

     

  • Full UK Driving Licence (max 6 points)

     

  • Current eligibility to work in the UK essential

     

  • Candidates ideally based in Leeds/North East
